William Parrish

William “Billy” Parrish is a Trial Attorney at Murray Legal Group. Billy focuses his practice on personal injury cases, including construction negligence, premises liability, negligent security, motorcycle accidents, rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.) negligence, commercial trucking negligence, and wrongful death matters.

Billy takes great pride in representing individuals and families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. He understands that clients often come to him during periods of significant physical, emotional, and financial hardship, and he approaches every case with empathy, dedication, and a deep sense of responsibility. Billy finds his work especially meaningful because it allows him to advocate for those who need a strong voice, hold wrongdoers accountable, and help clients move forward with dignity and security.

Billy has achieved notable results on behalf of his clients, including a $2.3 million settlement in a traumatic brain injury premises liability case; a $5.85 million jury verdict involving a client who suffered severe burns after being left in wet cement; a $1 million recovery in a commercial trucking case where the client sustained a lumbar spine injury; and an $800,000 settlement against a municipality where his client was diagnosed with permanent headaches from the accident. These outcomes reflect Billy’s commitment to thorough case preparation, strategic advocacy, and maximizing results for those he represents.

Before beginning his law career, Billy spent eight years with a nationally recognized insurance company, handling a wide range of complex injury claims and coverage issues. During that time, he earned multiple awards for excellence in claims handling and customer service. He brings a wealth of insurance-related experience and insight to his clients and the Murray Legal Group team.

Drawing from his experience defending cases and analyzing injury settlements, Billy has developed a unique and well-rounded understanding of how to effectively position cases for maximum value. His background has instilled a customer-centric approach, and he prioritizes keeping clients fully informed and educated from the outset through the conclusion of the litigation process. Billy is a former Division I athlete and a four-year starter for the Eastern Illinois University basketball program. He is from the western suburbs and maintains strong ties to the Chicagoland area. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and attending Chicago sporting events.
